A driver in Florida recorded a video of a black bear scaling a fence at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Florida, on August 10.

Kevin Dalrymple, the recorder, was driving by the air base that morning when he spotted the big bear carefully maneuvering over the barbed wire to get to the other side before scattering from the scene.

According to Tyndall AFB, the land where the base is located that stretches 26,000 acres, serves as a ‘perfect habitat for Florida’s abundance of wildlife, the most notable species being the black bear.’

Dalrymple added, “The bears are well protected on the base as it is federal property”. Dalrymple also said the bears have no problem wandering through parking lots and “scaring the personnel on base from time to time.”
