This company was founded in 2019 by a certain Christopher Reitz, a designer who worked for VW, Audi, Nissan and Alfa Romeo, but who also happens to be a member of the Porsche family on the side of Wolfgang, Ferdinand’s grandson. His company’s raison d’être is to design and produce a series of low-volume, hand-built cars that pay homage to the Porsche lineup.

The first of these models will be the Feuerbach Porsche GTL Coupebased on a 997-generation 911 GT3. Although it shares the same chassis, it will sport a unique carbon fiber body styled by the design team at Reitz whose company is based in Barcelona.

Teaser images show that the GTL Coupe will feature a particularly striking rear end with unique LED taillights and a distinctive engine cover with carbon louvers in place of the normal rear window. The sports car will also feature widened wheel arches and a carbon fiber diffuser. The visual seen from above also suggests a huge and spectacular air intake on the roof.

It must be said that it will be necessary, since the engine is also reworked and promises horsepower in shambles. In place of the car’s original 3.8-liter flat-six, a hand-built naturally aspirated 4.3-liter engine will develop 540 hp at 8,500 rpm. Feuerbach will also offer more powerful versions of the same engine, mated to either a six-speed manual or a PDK transmission with paddle shifters, both custom-built by a Porsche supplier.

A single image of the interior of the Porsche GTL Coupé has also been released, showing a clever mix of refinement (leather and alcantara) and racing atmosphere with a carbon fiber transmission tunnel, fiberglass door panels carbon and a plethora of new materials for owners to customize. Note the absence of a touch screen, the presence of analog meters and, on this visual, a good old-fashioned gear lever, which underlies the “purist” philosophy that accompanies the creation of this GTL. Those looking for the ultimate in performance will also be able to order the GTL Coupe with a competition-ready roll bar, seats and harnesses, and race-ready brakes, suspension and wheels.

Prices for the Porsche GTL Coupe are expected to start at $550,000, excluding bespoke customer options and local taxes. Only 25 copies will be produced. Fire!!!
