One of the most important factors when choosing a new phone is the battery life of the handset. People want a phone that is at least going to last them a full day before they have to go hunting for the charger. But does the bigger the battery mean more hours? Here we take a look at battery size vs. on screen hours:

The Lenovo S860 – 4000mAh battery

The Lenovo S860 comes with a battery of 4000mAh and a price tag of below $250 which means it is a winner all-round. The back of the handset is made in aluminium and it comes with stereo speakers and a HD display of 5.3 inches. You should get around 15 hours with the display turned on and around 3 to 4 days on average use.

The Ascend Mate 2 – 3900mAh battery

The Ascend Mate 2 is a superb phablet that offers around 11 hours of display on time as it comes with a battery of 3900mAh. It has a HD display of 6.1 inches and this is a high spec phone that isn’t going to break the bank.

Alcatel OneTouch Hero – 3400mAh battery

The One Touch Hero offers a battery of 3400mAh and just over 8 hours of on screen time. This is a thin phablet with a 6 inch display and it is affordably priced.

Sony Xperia Z2 – 3200mAh battery

The Sony Xperia Z2 and its battery of 3200mAh offers around 8 hours 10 minutes along with a display of 5.2 inches, 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 801 processor and stereo speakers.

The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra – 3000mAh battery

The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra offers a battery of 3000mAh and it happens to be among the devices that lasted the longest with 10 hours of on screen battery time. Sony says that the device offers around 24 hours of talk time when using 3G and the handset lasts around a month and half if it is left on standby. It can also play 10 hours HD video.

LG G2 Mini – 2440mAh battery

LG with the G2 Mini offers a 2440mAh battery which should give you around 8 hours and 32 minutes. The phone has a display of 4.7 inches, a camera of 8MP and the Snapdragon 400 processor.

Sony Xperia C – 2390mAh battery

The Sony Xperia C has its place among devices offering the best battery as it has one of 2390mAh. It offers a dual SIM and display of 5 inches and the battery should keep the screen on for close to 9 hours. The device has a price tag of $230 and offers great call quality.

Sony Xperia M2- 2300mAh battery

The Sony Xperia M2 has a battery of 2300mAh and this should last for around 9 hours. The device offers a display of 4.8 inches and it comes with the quad core Snapdragon 400 processor and has 1GB of RAM.

Motorola Moto E – 1980mAh battery

The Moto E offers a battery of 1980mAh and this should give you around 8 hours and 8 minutes of on screen time. It offers a 4.3 inch display along with 5MP camera and Snapdragon 200 processor.

The Lumia 635 comes with a battery of 1830mAh and relative to its battery capacity it is among the longest lasting. It offers on screen of 9 hours and 35 minutes and comes with a display of 4.5 inches with 4G LTE.
